Qurbani 2026 — how INK is handling it
Eid al-Adha is around the corner, inshāʾAllāh, and INK Foundation is once again coordinating Qurbani for the community. This year we're working with Green Acres Farm in Mount Airy, MD — locally raised, halāl, hand-slaughtered by qualified butchers from the masjid.
Pricing is $220 per share (one-seventh of a cow). Whole goat or sheep shares are also available — speak to a faculty member for current pricing.
Submission deadline is Saturday, May 23 at Maghrib. After that we can't add to the farm's count. Slaughter is on the morning of Eid, and meat will be available for pickup at the masjid the same afternoon, inshāʾAllāh. Meat for distribution to local families and students is automatically set aside; just let us know if you'd like your share donated rather than picked up.
There is no online form this year. To submit your name and number of shares, reach out to any faculty member in person, or send payment via Zelle to admin@inkbaltimore.com. Include a note with the names you're making Qurbani for (yourself, family, or behalf-of).
May Allah Taʿālā accept from us and you. If you have any questions about the process or about Qurbani in general, the Darul Iftāʾ is happy to answer — submit a question through the Darul Iftāʾ page or stop by during office hours.
